The holidays are here! We’re sending our friends and family jam for Christmas. Here are some insights that we’ve acquired in the process of decking out our jam for the holidays.
The first thing I did was to create adorable little jam labels from Minted. I am really happy with how they came out!
I’m not generally a fan of creating cute little jam bonnets, but I decided that Christmas is probably the only time when you can go over the top with your little jam jars. I went to our local fabric store and got ribbon and polka dot cloth. I cut six inch squares and cut them into little circles. I attached them with elastic bands. I used the ribbon to cover the elastic.
My fiance was very excited about how these bonnets came out. I attached the jam labels to the ribbon and voila! Decked out jam jars.
I packed three half-pint jam jars into a 6 x 6 x 8 inch boxes. I padded them well with lots of bubble wrap.
For local friends, I decided to have less fussy jars. I like the simple label and ribbon combination.
Happy holidays everybody!
